July 2-9 North Dakota

On Moriah's birthday, after Daniel was done at work, we headed up to Grafton, ND, Daniel's hometown. I must have packed really carelessly because I left some important things in Ireland. My camera battery charger was one of those things. I took a lot of video instead. Some of these pictures are taken from the videos, a few are from my camera, but the majority are Anne's and Mia's - thanks for letting me use them!

We had a lot of fun during our week home on the farm. We wore ourselves out with nonstop activity! The pictures speak for themselves.

Part 2 (I used a song in this one that Youtube does not have copywrite permission for, hence Youtube had to completely mute it, and I can't edit it out of my flip video. Bummer.)

These pictures of the Minnesota scenery are for you, Josh :)
This is what most of the state looks like.
Peaceful, rolling farmland.

First meeting cousin Jonathan David, 5 1/2 months old.

The baby cousins, Jonathan & Moriah.

This is the pickup that Aaron has so dearly missed!

The big cousins: Silas, Aaron, Annelise (3 - born the day after Silas), and Julia (5 1/2).

4th of July Parade in Park River

Daniel's Presteng Grandparents with many of their grand and great-grandkids!

Siri, their second cousin, is now Julia's fairy partner. Aaron used to have to wear the blue costume. He saw me working on this blog and asked me, "Why didn't I get to wear the blue one?" Sniff, tear :'(

Uncle Michael can't be thanked enough for the fun he's given the kids with these toys!

We celebrated Moriah's 1st Birthday.

The Presteng Farm. All 4 houses are in there, near the shelter belt.

We took the kids golfing. Daniel worked on re-training Aaron to swing right-handed.

With Daniel's brother and family:
Mark & Mia, Julia, Annelise, & Jonathan

Annika and Jessica are second cousins too - Jessica was visiting from WA state!

Some North Dakota scenery for Josh - much the same as MN, but it's completely flat here in Eastern ND.

Daniel's cousin Matt & his wife Tana took us out on their boat - thanks guys!!

Daniel's brother, Michael, and Mia and the kids took the second shift.

The best picture of the 3-year-olds.
Neither of them wants to come out of their "terrible two's"!
